It will be used for 5-10 minutes only (for BIOS update lang gyud)

Ako ni i upgrade para maka support akong mobo sa akong napalit na 3rd gen processor.

Maayo unta duol ra ta ug barato ra ang pa renta ninyo.

Lahug akong location near JY square.

    Unsa diay imong Motherboard?

Dili diay ka ka update sa imong MOBO using your current 3rd gen CPU?

I think you just need to download the BIOS file from the manufacturer's website and you're good to go.

How about purchasing a new MOBO supports 3rd gen para d naka kinahanglan mag update2 instead of purchasing a 2nd gen cpu.

    asrock h61m-itx.

    No.

Yes, I'm aware of it but it can support ivy bridge only if its already updated. So yes, I need a 2nd gen processor.

this board is exactly what I need and wala nako naka kita ug 2nd gen proc sa stores.

I thought maka update ra ang Nutech sa SM because naka pa update nako before sa bios with the same mobo for a friend, but unfortunately karon, wala na sila sandy bridge proc on hand.

It's a waste of money if mo palit paka og 2nd gen cpu, palit nlng bag-o nga 3rd gen ITX Mobo instead of buying 2nd gen cpu.

I think dili naka need og 2nd gen nga cpu. This is according to the Asrock's website, based on the MOBO you're using.

To support Intel's 3rd Generation (Ivy Bridge) CPU, corresponding BIOS, drivers and AXTU update are required.

Click here to download required AXTU
Click here to download required Intel ME
Click here to download required VGA Driver (Windows XP)
Click here to download required VGA Driver (Windows XP x64)
Click here to download required VGA Driver (Windows 7 / Vista)
Click here to download required VGA Driver (Windows 7 x64 / Vista x64)

    * After updating this BIOS, please flash newer versions only.

It did not say you need a 2nd gen cpu for your mobo to be supported for a 3rd gen cpu. i think imong probs you just need to install those lacking drivers.
