    Default SLI question: Power Supply related

    I recently bought 2 ASUS GTX 660 ti OC Edition, and wanted to set it up for 2 way SLI. But when I read the minimum power requirements, 12 v 36 A, I think my current HEC Cougar 700W is not enough. Though this one got two 12V rails, its only rated 30A.
    Im thinking about buying STRIDER GOLD EVOLUTION/SST-ST75F-G Evolution , it has a single 12V rail @ 62A. would this be enugh?

    2 way SLI goes with:
    MoBo: MSI Z77 Mpower
    Procie: Core i7 2600k
    HDD: WD 3 x 250 GB & Seagate 500GB
    SSD: Sandisk 128GB
    Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1866 MHz

    Thanks

    @noze

    Your HEC 700w is still enough for that setup. Heck ( ) single rail 550w is even sufficient.
    Only problem i see is that HEC psus tend to be unreliable @ near full capacity. Unstable 3.3 and 5v. Daghan pa man gud ka ug HDDs. And they die easily when stressed frequently @ high loads.

    My recommendation, if that thing is more than 2yo, replace it.
    If you want to keep it, pm me. Ill guide you on how to redistribute the loadings between the rails.

    sa akoang SLI rig, before, naka Inno3D GTX 660 Ti iCHiLL SLI man ni sya then after (to this writing), naka Yeston GTX 670 SLI, PSU nako kay Corsair TX750W... nice ang mga 700 to 800 W PSU para sa anang imohang set-up bro... dako kaayo'g head room pa na available. maka OC paka sa mem modules ug CPU ug ang GPU ma OC pud... that was what I did except atoang naka i2-2120 pa ang rig... OC ra sa 105 base clock ang i2... 3.4 GHz ra sya... dili baya unlocked ang i3... anyway, your new Seasonic X-760 is enough dor your need...
