Finance Manager
Type: Full Time Contract
Work Experience: 2 - 3 Years
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provides accurate and timely financial service including setting and monitoring of budgets, forecast, cash flow analysis, management and financial accounts and advise and support to inform decision making at all levels.
• Ensures that the executives are appraised of key financial issues and financial standing of the company as necessary.
• Preparation of statutory accounts, financial statements in accordance with accounting standards, guidelines and statues including the preparation of financial returns as required.
• Works with other department to develop Finance policies and procedures and ensures that these are being consistently followed, including operations, suppliers contracts, purchase orders and credit control.
• Manage the annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed auditors/staff in ensuring statutory accounts prepared within a required deadline.
• Preparation of annual budget in consultation with other managers/officers across the organization, providing reporting mechanisms to facilitate overall budgetary control.
• To maintain a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, accounting policy, practice and current developments and advise the Managing Partners on relevant implications.
• To manager, develop and maintain all financial systems and internal controls and provide advise and training to budget holders and staff within the organization on finance related procedures , issues and budgetary control.
• Prepares the annual departmental plan and review, ensuring the effective allocation of work and efficient use of resources.
• Accountable for the management of the annual audit process and risk management.
• Maintains and develop organization culture, values and reputation with the staffs and the management.
• Implementation and assist in the development, review and maintenance of organizational policies and strategies.
Job Qualifications:
• Candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• At least 2 years experience in Finance Management.
• Highly details oriented and hands on in managing the department.
• Strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Above average oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate, demonstrated experience of using Quickbooks and SAP.
