Default Help akong RAM 1600mhz running @ 1333mhz (ako na gi try possible fix - no luck)

Good Day! naa koy ram 8gb (2x4gb)
    Kingston HyperX Blu. PC3-10700 part no.:9905403-442.A00LF (rated @ 1.7v-1.9v)
    Motherboard: Asus P8H61-M LE
    Processor: i5 2500 non-k @ stock

ako gi try og set sa bios ang ram frequency to 1600mhz pero dili man mo boot, no display sya
gi try napud og asus optimal ni increase ang speed both cpu and ram speed (1386mhz or something)
lastly, gi set nako ang DRAM Voltage to 1.65v - no luck, although ni boot sya pero running @ 1333mhz lang gihapon.

unsay problema ani? akong processor or ang motherboard? nag basa2x ko sa forums mo support man daw akong cpu - e OC lang, pero sa board wala ko kabalo, naa man AI tweaker sa bios, ako gi usab2x pero walay nahitabo. Please Help sa kato naka encounter or kabalo ani. SALAMAT in ADVANCE !!

You need to enable XMP through your BIOS so that you will be able to run your RAM's frequency speed to 1866mhz.. and set the RAM's voltage to "auto", if it's not gonna boot on auto, then you need to set it manually by increasing the voltage.

Upon checking on the manufacturer's website:
    Motherboards | P8H61-M LE | ASUS Global

    - Wala diay siyay XMP feature (so you can't use 1866mhz)
    - Your mobo can only support DDR3 1333/1066Mhz
    - Usable up to 2 x DIMM 16GB DDR3

"ako gi try og set sa bios ang ram frequency to 1600mhz pero dili man mo boot, no display sya"
    - yup it's because your mobo can only support DDR3 1333 maximum..

Solution: find a mobo that has an XMP feature para magamit nimo ang 1866mhz... but it's not a worth upgrade sayang2 lang sa kwarta if ang kana ra nga feature imo gipangita, so you don't really necessarily need to upgrade your mobo since dli noticeable ang performance ana from 1333mhz to 1866mhz unless of course if mag benchmark ka...

imong mobo kutob ra sa freq sa 1333 so either mag-antos ka sa 1333 nga freq or palit ka new mobo

mobo ra probs ani if wala sya'y option sa BIOS for a 1600 MHz mem... dili lang ko sure sa CPU (non-K variant) kay akoang i5 diri na natively supports mem speed 1066/1333 MHz and on OC'ed mem modules is a "K variant" man. I have a SB i5 here... an i5-2550K in my gaming rig... OC'ed to 4.6 GHz (normal use nya... highest attained OC was 4.8 GHz on 4 x 4 GB DIMMs) then OC'ed the mem modules to 2133 MHz (Kingston HyperX Beast 1600 MHz stock)... mobo is an Asrock Fatality Z77 Professional... mo support ang K variant CPUs ug higher speed as long as mo support ang mobo...

CPU OC'ed to 4.6 GHz and mem modules OC'ed to 2133 MHz...

CPU OC'ed to 4.6 GHz and mem modules OC'ed to 1866 MHz...

CPU OC'ed to 4.6 GHz and mem modules @ stock 1600 MHz...

both CPU (w/ normal Boost) & mem modules @ stock speeds...

got also an IB i5 here on my entertainment rig running 24/7... its an i5-3570 on an ASrock H61 DE/SI mobo... maka set ko's 1600 to 1866 MHz sa BIOS... akoang gi OC'ed to 1600 ang mem modules nya... Avexir core series 1333 MHz stock to 1600 MHz... modagan sya pero, dili stable ang rig. sometimes mo kalit lang ug BSOD. workaround was to run the mem modules @ stock na lang... the rig now is ock-stable at the mem stock speeds...

if gamitan nko's Geil 1600 MHz and HyperX Beast 1600 MHz... tagsa2x ug taod ni sila ha. dili mix n' match... kumbate ra sa 1600 MHz speed, modagan ra @ 1600 MHz mem speed ang rig... even though, H61 ang chip set... but the CPU itself natively supports 1600 MHz mem speed... akoa lang i manually set sa BIOS ang mem speed to 1600 MHz then viola...

salamat sa inyo mga sir ! upgrade nalang ko og mobo puhon, kay akong board pud tuod PCI-E 2.0 ra sya, bati jud ni ako board, og last pangutana nalang, wala bay RISK akong ram while running @ 1333mhz? (underclock) . salamat kaayo !

    ^ bro,

ang board nimo, ok pa na's alright... ang mem nimo, no worries ra na sya mag downclock to 1333 MHz speed.. ug ang PCIe 2.0, ok pa pud na sya... sa paper (in theory) ra dako kaayo'g difference ang PCIE 2 & 3 but in actual benchmark & use, negligible to none ang fps difference... bisan gani, naka multi GPU... nag importante sa multi GPU kay naka electrically x8/x8 ang slots as minimum... if ang isa, mag x4 ang speed, kani, dako2x ni'g fps penalty sa games...

now back to your mobo, if ganahan gyud ka mag full speed nang mem nimo, in actual use, dili ka maka bantay... sakit gyud hinoon na's bulsa kay mahal2x man ang price ana... hehehe... anyhow, kun unsa gyud ang gusto nimo, plan ahead para dili ka mag sige'g upgrade... gasto ra ba ni na hobby... "negative spending" ta diri but, priceless ang "short" happiness nato... hehehe...
