Hi istoryans! Just asking for feedback how long your crdi engine lasted before having problems? Better kung diri Cebu use kay wa man diri Euro IV diesel fuel. Particularly interested in the injectors durability with current diesel quality. TIA

mga pips, wa jud nadautan ninyu ug crdi engine especially injectors dha? just asking man gud kay planning to get one that has it. i don't have much experience owning a diesel engine. the best info i got was problems start to surface generally within 7 years after purchase depending on how hard it was driven. curious lang kay manila boys have an option in Unioil man gud samtang kita diri, we are at the mercy sa cleanliness sa tanke sa mga stations.

bro, basically the heart of a crdi engine is the fuel system..this is a bit technical and complicated but lets get to your point..first, if you have a diesel engine, be very diligent on your change oil schedule and quality of oil used..to be safe stick to what is stated in your manual..second, a common rail fuel system is a very sensitive one, and the major culprit for crdi problems is quality of local diesel fuel...so if you get a crdi, fill up only in legit gas stations, "branded" if possible, in gas stations you feel you can "trust", always fill up when you are already at 1/4 tank full, and replace fuel fllter as frequently as possible or as recommended by the dealer..for the mean time until the compliant fuels reach our area..

Diesel engines karon is very good na, specially kana CRDi and German cars. Try sa BMW kana ilang mga diesel na awto, it is quieter than my gasoline car and it accelerates super fast.
