Note that I am still on the walk of finding the right and the best diet for my pups. So take it easy on me and to all other newbies.


Are there any users or have used ACANA, CANIDAE, ORIJEN, INNOVA EVO here?

1. What can you say about these dog food brands?
2. What are the prices in regards of bag size?
3. Where can we buy these dog food brands (CEBU AREA ONLY)?
4. What improvements on your pup/dog have you observed so far?

Saka ta. just bought ACANA PUPPY FORMULA (DRY). Will observe changes and keep this thread updated.

I feed raw. I use orijen adult for training treats. So far, ku wala distractions, orijen works. Sa new environment and miod distractions, i use liver na as treats.

Sa Caminade diay ko tigpalit aning orijen.

i used acana taman lang 6months sa ako mga pups, after that mag vitality nako kay wala na budget. ok rako sa acana any premium dogfood will do.

@jaini: salamat sa reply boss. mahal2 jud nuon ang acana, samot na ang orijen. xD pero i heard boss nga dali ra daw mapul an ang mga pups sa vitality. tinuod ba ni boss? and nag lisud pud ko pangita ug review and sa kung kinsa jui supplier ani nga dog food, dogswell sad supplier ani?


Anyway, I started feeding my pups with Acana yesterday, so far akong na observe kai:

*better appetite: sus! kusuga jud muhab2, e-hilam.os ra ang akong ibutang sa ilang bowl. mangayo pag balik hehe. pa cute2, wag2 sa tail
*increased weight: stang bug ata na jud sa akong mga babies tawn. haha
*dramatic physical improvement: mabantayan jud nga nanambok jud sila. gwapo na kaayog muscles
*higher energy: yep, more playtimes! paak didto, dagan diri, layat didto, ingkit diri. hahah, bitaw2 mas playful sila keysa before.
*stool size and form: di pa kaayo solid jud tungod siguro kay nag adopt pa ilang system sa change sa dog food. pero naa siyay form and di jud ingon nga humok siya.


so far, my observed results are very desirable, and what is definitely what i am longing for. will continue this, and so will be my observation. updates later pals!


anyway for those who wants the nutritional analysis of the Acana formula i am feeding my poochies. here it is:

Crude protein (min.) = 32%
Crude fat (min.) = 21%
Crude fiber (max.) = 4%
Moisture (max.) = 10%
Calcium (min.) = 1.6%
Phosphorus (min.) = 1.1%
Omega-6 (min.) = 2.5%
Omega-3 (min.) = 0.9%
DHA (min.) = 0.4%
EPA (min.) = 0.4%

@mendoza; wala ko kabalo sa supplier ani bay. for me bisan unsa man guro nga dogfood naa times na mapul an sila.daghan na kaayo kog na try nga dogfood sa tanan nga medyo ma afford ra nya ok ang ingredients ang vitality ako ganahan.mag barf sadko usahay. basta if puppy pa acana dyod ako e feed nila nya after 6months shift na dayon ko vitality kay mabuslot ato bulsa unless sakto dyodka sa budget.
