The Bartender is responsible for directing and monitoring the operations in the bar outlet assigned to him.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the bar is clean and orderly.
- Maintains an adequate supply of bar stock and undertakes inventory at periodic intervals with his superior.
- Initiates requisition for additional supplies when needed.
- Makes sure that drinks are served according to standards and that they are properly accounted and paid for.
- Takes charge of storage and refrigeration of wines and other beverages.
- Attends to problems and complaints from guests and reports them to his superior.
- Reports the daily beverage sales to his immediate superior.
- Makes inventory of beverage consumption as well as of losses and breakages of equipment.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time and/or required by immediate superior or management.
