Australian based, multi project company is seeking a clever, and switched on book keeper / accountant to manage company finances.
You will work for flexible and inspired businesses owners who give their employees the opportunity to shine and grow. You will take part in setting up financial systems for new projects and monitoring finances for a 15 yr old established business.
In this role you will
- reconcile bank accounts
- prepare accounts payable
- monitor accounts receivable and contact customers via phone to request outstanding payments
- prepare company tax every quarter
- prepare employee wages on a weekly basis
- provide frequent reporting
- use your initiative to develop new systems
- make suggestions for compliance and greater efficiency
The right person for this role will have;
- minimum of 5 yrs experience in book keeping or accounting
- be proficient in Cloud MYOB
- experience with Xero or quick books is not mandatory but preferred
