Default EXL, BPO ?!! MY SaD ExperiencE with TheM

    Mga Istoryans,

Share lang ni naku ha. Feel free to react or give ur comments.

Last February 26 I went to EXL Recruitment office 2nd Flr FGU Blg. I walked in as an applicant. They interviewed me. I passed the initial interview, I passed their written exam & typing skills. Remarks was excellent so the recruitment specialist told me.

Recruitment specialist advised me that their operations starts next month April & I have to wait for a call for the final interview. Last Tuesday March 12. I recieved a call from them for the lanaguage assesment test. I passed was told to come to the office for the Final Interivew.

March 13, Final Interview 3:30PM. I was their early. Account SOM for more than 30minutes interviewd me, then came music to my ears. She said I made it & she will be endorsing me to next stage which is the client interview.

March 14, Client interview 10:30PM. We were 6 scheduled that day. I was 2nd to the last to be interviewed. Then their was A celebration after the final stage. SOM said "Congratulations We all Made It". We were told to come back Friday March 15 for the Job Offer. Client remarks was even all praise for me.

Client said I was professional & one even mentioned "I love this guy".

After that announcement. SOM called my attention. She asked me to to stay awhile. She said I did not make it. She said my employment history did not pass their requirment. I was suddened with what I heard. I was hurting hearing all this from her.

MY QUESTION IS: Why after a few weeks of waiting. WHY? After the Final & Client Interview was I just informed about this. This so unprofessional.

They should have informed me that I did not qualify for the job in the weeks waiting or/on the scheduled Final Interview. I would have somehow understand. BUT WHY after all the processes & interview. I came this far just to be turned down.

My ISTORYANS whats youre recommendation. Do I have the right to complain for this unfair practice?

Do we have a local bureau who handles BPO concern. Who can help me with this unprofessional manner of handling an applicant. They dont have any regards to my feelings.

    Anyone?

Hi, sorry to hear about this tragic story. In my opinion, you don't have the right to complain because you were never hired anyway. I mean, formal hiring, with contract signing? Just go on with your life. It's their loss, not yours. Cheer up

I know I realized that they may have the right to decline my application if no contract was signed. I just felt that Im treated unfairly after all the time/money/processes/interviews I've gone through with them. This is just to unprofessional.

    Sorry to hear that TS

Anyway, naa'y possibility nga nagbuhat sila ug background check, take JPMC for example, naa'y cases nga ma pull out ang agents in the middle of TRAINING kay nahagbong sila sa background check.

I agree with pwned08.... most of the bpo companies do their background check after passing the account interview or job offer. even if naka training na ka or naka sign na ka contract but bati ang ila feedback nakuha from your character references, they will pull you out.

i feel your pain ts and im praying that your pain will go away...

In-ana diay didto sa JP Morgan? Hala noh. Nya what if nakasign na ang employee sa iyang contract, only to find out nga nahagbong sa background check, nya in the middle sa training taktakon dayun?

I can't believe naay mga companies nga walay heart!

Saging na lang ba ang may puso sa panahon ngayon?

    Hello guys,

Thanks for your post. This is truly unprofessional. WE should have some sort of law to protect us from this type of practice. The background check should be done before endorsing applicants for Final & Client interview. I waited for weeks man gud. Pero whats is done is done.

    I believe in Karma . . .
