Why is it illegal to ask for a recipe? All I'm asking is for someone who can show me how to make steamed rice as close as possible to dimsum break. Thats why they have to show it to me! If I like it, I'll pay 25K! If I were to ask for a pancit recipe much like the pancit of snow sheen and be willing to pay 100k for it, is that illegal?? You're obviously not a lawyer because you have no concept of the intricacies of the intellectual property laws.

Well I guess technically you're right. My bad. I guess I'll just have to answer to their lawyers if ever. Askal or anyone reading this thread, wanna take a crack at it? Not the exact one just SIMILAR. Lemme up the ante at 50k for you or your friends. That would require us to meet in person in any kitchen. I just need to get that steamed rice fix. Cant get it here in Mindanao where I'm from. Willing to cook anywhere at your convenient time.

wow, you must have plenty of dough in that pocket. however, i've eaten plenty of steamed rice at dimsum's, harbour's, at our local canteen, etc. and I can't tell the damn difference. so, i guess that means i won't be laying my dirty little fat fingers on that 50K bounty.

Lol, you have a point. Specially na nisikat na sila ron. But I think the TS mentioned that he will be using it in Mindanao so maybe they will reconsider.
