Community is an American television comedy series created by Dan Harmon that airs on NBC. The series follows a group of students at a community college in the fictional locale of Greendale, Colorado. The series heavily uses meta-humor and pop culture references, often parodying film and television clichés and tropes

The ensemble cast centers on Jeff (Joel McHale), Britta (Gillian Jacobs), Troy (Donald Glover), Abed (Danny Pudi), Pierce (Chevy Chase), Annie (Alison Brie), and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), members of a study group. Also recurring are unbalanced former Spanish instructor Señor Ben Chang (Ken Jeong) and the overwhelmed Dean, Craig Pelton (Jim Rash), who desperately wants his school to be more like a real university and goes to strenuous and excessive lengths to seem politically correct.


This is currently one of my favorite comedy shows, probably the smartest comedy out there. If you're not familiar with the actors, Ken Jeong, also known as "Chow" in the Hangover films, is in this show. He plays a Spanish teacher.
