    Default The Philippine Money Act

It's time to pass "The Philippine Money Act". This bill will focus on attaining a budget surplus on the government's balance sheet. This bill will also focus on increasing the GDP per capita and the median household income to first world status. The foremost mission of the bill is to educate Filipinos to look for money, not for jobs and practice austerity. It is like a version of the "American Jobs Act" but in this case, it will put Filipinos to look for money, not for jobs and improving the amount of cash on their hands.

Implementations of this bill will include:

    1. Money awareness and education to all Filipinos. Filipinos will be taught to focus on looking for money and committing to save money. The money awareness campaign will be made from the national level, to the local and up to the barangay level. All Filipinos regardless of income levels should be aware of this campaign. The government will also provide money awareness and education to all businesses in the country with focus on having a cash fund as part of their listed assets. The money awareness campaign will also include from big corporations, MNCs, small and medium enterprises, up to the small vendors in the community markets, streets and in the rural areas. Money awareness will be included in the school curriculum from elementary, high school, college and post graduate courses. Adult education regarding money will be provided in the community and barangay level for non educated and illiterate adults.

    2. Elected officials should attain and maintain the government they are running (whether its is a national, local or barangay level) to a budget surplus. In case that government goes into deficits, all of the elected officials who are serving in that government are no longer allowed for re-election.

    3. If the government's balance sheets starts to yield surpluses, all elected officials will be paid on the level with best performing private companies in that area. In this manner, our government will be run by top caliber officials and will provide a lasting impression to the constituents they are serving.

In this way, the Philippines will be on the right track to attain a first world status and will improve the Filipinos way of living.

its time for filipinos to know what they are looking. Filipinos should look for money above anything else, not religion. Religion only makes our country sicker and sicker year after year. Lets go the money principle. Religion, especially the catholic church, only teaches their flock to be more dependent on a "higher being" which they call on God to solve all their life's miseries, while church officials are getting richer and richer day by day. It's time for filipinos to wake up, face what is reality and start looking for money. Religion is the real sucker of the filipino's money.

there are always consequences and unseen situation that might or might not be favorable for this law. but what important is the government should be involved more to educate and make each and every filipinos to be smart about money. Educational degrees, religion, are not enough. We already have that. What we need is financial literacy like being smart about money, not being smart about the job. OFWs are known for their hardworking attitude and good work qualities and some of filipino students can compete and can win grand prizes on an international level. but why is our country still poor? we are already on the bottom level on our GDP and quality of life rankings. It is because filipinos are not smart about money. they are smart about their work or their jobs but not money. that's why filipinos are still poor even we have the best doctors, nurses, accountants, engineers, teachers, scientists, etc. money is the only way to get out of poverty, not religion, or politics.

^ you have to see it beyond your own idea of how life is ought to be... Don't try to fit your own idea and force everyone, through government, to follow it... Yes, financial education is good, just like any knowledge....let those interested in it, pursue under his own will and expense, not by the funding from other people's money....

in a nut shell, it sounds like a good idea. However, who's to say that a politician who spends less for it's constituents will see another term in office? definitely not.

All I can say is that, laws should benefit the constituents and not the law makers themselves. Isn't it the reason why they went into public service in the first place? The first two provisions will definitely benefit the constituents but the third provision will definitely be a breeding ground for corrupt politicians. There should be a limit as to the number of years that they can stay in that position and that they can NEVER be re-elected whether they were a good performing politician or the opposite.

my friend, that is the aim of all leaders we have so far..."for the benefit of the constituents" But i say, laws should never bring benefits nor bring disadvantage to ANY constituent.. that should limit corrupt officials...

financial knowledge should be mandaratory to all able minded filipinos. just like paying taxes or stoping on a red light. that's it. that is the best education the government could give to the filipinos.
