Dutch e-tailer Comcom has jumped the gun and listed Radeon HD 7970 online. It is an Asus product, listead at a sizzling €525.

Adding VAT, the price goes up to €625. This is €75 more than GTX 580 on the same site, listed around €450 without VAT and €540 with VAT. Considering past trends, this suggests a North American retail price of around $550 for the HD 7970. The pricing listed by Comcom concurs with previously rumoured pricing of "just over 500 Euros".Unfortunately, the listing does not reveal much about the product. We only know it is an Asus HD 7970 with 3GB GDDR5. Interestingly, the display outputs are listed as 3xDVI, 1xHDMI and 2xminiDP, a configuration that will only be possible using the DVI and active miniDP adapters. The delivery date is listed as an inconclusive 1 to 4 weeks", which can mean anything between availability next week for the media launch to January 9th for the previously planned launch. Of course, listings prior to NDA expiry are known to feature exorbitant price tags, so the final price could end up being lower. Source: Comcom.nl
