Epson Singapore introduces new projectors for education, business and homes by VR-Zone.com

This morning, Epson Singapore has announced new projectors for education, business and homes which include Epson EB-S/X/W, EB-1800, EB-400 series, EH-TW8000, EH-TW6000 and MG-850HD; a total of 13 models.

Epson MG-850HD





The Epson MG-850HD is the company's first high definition projector for Apple devices, and comes with a convenient dock that fits the iPhone, iPad and iPod. You don't need any special applications installed; simply dock the Apple device and use the remote control provided to navigate and play your photos, songs or movies. The MG-850HD also comes with a set of two 10W high quality stereo speakers for your enjoyment. It is available this month at S$1,299.

Epson EH-TW8000





The Epson EH-TW8000 high definition home theatre projector claims to offer the brightest 3D images in the world. It provides 480Hz frame refresh rate which is said to be twice as fast as other 3D projectors and minimises "blackout time" between 3D frames. On top of that, the EH-TW8000 features 3D to 3D conversion, Super Resolution and Frame Interpolcation technologies for improved image quality. It also has lens shift and pixel alignment correction capabilities that lets users shift image easily while the projector remains in its installed place. The Epson EH-TW8000 is available this month with a price tag of S$4,299 and comes with a pair of 3D active shutter glasses. If you need to purchase more, the 3D active shutter glasses are retailing at S$120 each.

For those who want a more affordable home theatre projector can check out the the Epson EH-TW6000 that is priced at S$2,999. It shares the same image engine as the EH-TW8000 with 480Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a Horizontal Keystone Adjuster and C2Fine technology to achieve lustrous, high quality images. However, it does not have 2D to 3D conversion and has no 3D active shutter glasses bundled with the unit.

Epson EB-S/X/W series



The EB-S/X/W series are Epson’s most affordable, entry-level range of projectors. There are four different models of various resolutions, brightness and features, which users can choose the most ideal projector for their needs. The new Epson EB-S, X and W series have higher brightness ratings of up to 3,000 lumens, which means you can get bright and clear images even under brightly-lit conditions. Selected models also offer advanced features such as HDMI and USB connectivity, and Horizontal Keystone Adjuster. The Horizontal Keystone Adjuster is a physical slider that lets users conveniently and quickly correct keystone distortions caused when the projector is placed at an angle to the screen.

Epson EB-1800 series



This Epson latest full-featured projector series offer high brightness of up to 4000 lumens which are suited for classrooms and offices. The projectors also come with comprehensive connectivity options; the Epson EB-1880 model can connect to a network when receiving images and audio signals, as well as for monitoring purposes. The EB-1800 series projectors also feature a Horizontal Keystone Adjuster.

Epson EB-400 series



Epson’s new short throw projector range is ideal for constraint spaces and for users who do not like the ultra short throw models. The projectors can be fitted with an optional Epson ELPIU03 interactive module that gives the projector interactive capabilities on any hard surface it projects on, without the need for an expensive interactive whiteboard. The EB-425W and EB-435W models also come equipped with a Horizontal Keystone Adjuster, a 16W speaker and wireless connectivity options.
