League of Legends Joins the MLG Pro Circuit

We are pleased to announce that League of Legends has been selected for competition by yet another prestigious and well recognized eSports organization. Major League Gaming has inducted League of Legends as an official title of their Pro Circuit!

Beginning at their Pro Circuit Live Competition on Saturday, the 27th of August in Raleigh, North Carolina, the MLG will be partnering with Riot Games to bring you high-quality League of Legends matches between some of the best teams that North America has to offer. The four selected teams are: Epik Gaming, Curse Gaming, Team Solo Mid, and Counter Logic Gaming!

Teams will participate in a best-of-three pool to qualify for the championship match, and the chance to capture their piece of a $20,000 prize pool. All matches will be streaming live on the MLG Pro Circuit website for your entertainment! Pool play will kick off in this MLG Pro Circuit Live Competition on Saturday, the 27th of August at 7:00 AM Pacific Time with the championship match to follow on Sunday at 7:00 AM.
