The Queen of Talk and Gameshow, Kris Aquino is hosting the Philippine franchise of The Price Is Right. The most anticipated and well-loved game show in the world will be airing in ABS-CBN by 2011.

The Price Is Right was created by Bob Stewart and owned by FremantleMedia, the same group that brought Pilipinas Got Talent in ABS-CBN. The franchised began in 1956 which was hosted by Bill Cullen, and later undergone revamp in 1972 with Bob Barker as the new host. Barker retired in 2007 and replaced by Drew Carey in the US franchise.

The main objective of the show is for the contestant to give the exact or somewhat near to the amount of the featured item. From there, players will have the chance to join the jackpot round to win bigger prices.

Before her stint as the host for the Philippine franchise of The Price Is Right, Kris Aquino became the host of the successful game shows in ABS-CBN like Pilipinas Game KNB?, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, Wheel of Fortune and Pinoy Bingo Night

A guy just won a car earlier, If im not mistaken, its of mazda brand.

Previous to this, a lady won a wii, a sofa and a toy car on which the sum will range more than 50k, not greater than 70k.

It's sayang that the brand new car winner did not win the iPad and sony cybershot cam beforehand, but God is good. He got home with a new car.
