    Default English-speaking southsides

    First of all, no offense on the Tagalogs (and my dad is one of them)

    so,

    I observed that most Tagalogs have difficulty in speaking and communicating in english than us Cebuanos. Question is why? is it not difficult for us to speak the Filipino language vs. the English language? Sayun ra lagi para nato mag english keysa mag tagalog while ang mga tagalog pd maglisud ug english. Is it because slang nata daan or gahi ra ato dila?

    Either way, nabay educational factor ni na situation? or we are born this way lang jd?

    actually, I asked the very same question I posted above because of our recent literature class discussion regarding our fluency in a foreign language than to our own.

    You do have a point though, Luzon is one big Island compared to the visayas.

    @previous comments

    I don't know how I put it but, I'm not comparing anybody here.. It may sound as a "comparison" since it is written as "comparison" but then please try to dig deeper naman before posting. Also, I used the word "most", meaning that does not make it a 100% compared to generalizing a point.

    @florigaga

    Tagalog raba pod ko, I was born in Laguna and spent my elementary days there. I don't seem to understand your point.

    so much for trolling..

    sakto....ngano man gyud hatagan man gyud emphasis what's between cebuanos or tagalogs/manilans?
    we are just creating an enclave to be divided---we are dis-attaching ourselves as bisaya (we are still and very much bisaya as we are cebuanos) from fellow filipinos like tagalogs.

    I know it's there's an ongoing social issue between cebuanos/bisaya and tagalogs/manilans
    and we are just widening or fortifying the walls between to regional "rivals"

    kita mga cebuanos we don't wanna associate ourselves as bisaya..and why is that?
