i havent really notice it.. im using ubuntu dapper btw.. but i've seen some verdana similarities.. although just a different name.. but if you want the fonts in your windows you can actually used them on your linux distro.. just be sure its a true type font (ttf).

Although locating the font folder will be kindda tricky...depending on the distro ur using... so cant help you there... hehehe...

you can import fonts from a window$ system partition, locally in a same pc or LAN connected to your linux pc.

i just downloaded an MS Font pack for Lunix pero ako rapud gi uninstall kay mas nindot man ang mga fonts sa linux diay... and concerning sa font to be used for websites, serif or sans-serif nalang ang gamiton...
