According to my bestfriend's mom (who's a doctor) There's a reason why:

1.) underwear was invented.
2.) we have pubic hair
3.) loose-fitting undergarments are encouraged

Those are the top three reasons why we should wear underwear but the list goes on. If you paid attention to your grade/high school biology, the pubic hair is the "1st line of defense" when it comes to protecting our lady parts from bacteria.
