Default Dog Traveling Within Philippines Queries

Hi. I'm from Cebu, and I'll spend my Christmas vacation in mindanao. No one can take care my medium size sheepdog here so I have to bring him with me. Our departure will be this saturday. He has a health card though not updated the deworming part and did not complete the kennel cough vaccine due to my busy sched. I decided to catch those after our Mindanao trip since I do feel that it won't be healthy for my dog to have those in times of travel.

    May I ask these:

    1) I know the first step is getting the animal permit. So please help me how. And where exactly the location where I can get that.
    2) We will travel by sea, where will my dog be when in boat? Will they place the animals on board to the cargo area? I'm planning to buy an economy ticket because I'm hoping I can place him near me. Is this really possible?
3)What is the advisable dog carrier? Is it the collapsable or the one which is not (the plastic one)? If it's the collapsable, I was advised to use it only when on board because it's not as portable as the other one when in use, if so, can we go inside the port area even my dog is not in cage yet (carried by arms only)?
    4) What is the range of the animal permit cost? Are there any additional fees aside from that or any documents to be procured prior or after animal permit?
    5) How safe the travel is for my dog? My dog is a year now.
    6) Any do's and don'ts before, on, after being on board?

    Thanks for the help.

1.) you can get ur permit at department of quarantine..location : in between pier 1 and pier 2..
(xenxa na sa map mdyo maliit)

2.) yes,,pero try to convince them na itabi mo yung dog mo or near u lng, na wag na dun sa cargo area bka pumayag)
3.) i advice yung collapsable cage kc meduim size dog mo pra mkagalaw cya sa loob for a long trip..yes, u can carry ur dog until dun sa pier(trans asia) pero lalagay mo den cya sa cage pagdating mo dun kc patakaran nla...
4.)getting a permit, donation lng ask nla depende sau kano bigay mo.....yes, my fee den yan.sabihin mo my pet na lion ka kasama,joke..if trans asia ka ask mo sa office nla magkano bayad mo sa pet mo....wen getting a permit be sure to bring the VET CARD of ur pet(updated vacc. and anti-rabies)..
5.) it's safe, i've travel my dog from cebu via leyte....always check ur pet lng..
6.) make sure nka poop cya bago mo sakay sa barko or dala ka tissue or any panghugas sa poop nya incase gagawin nya sa cage....sure mangangamoy tlga yan...

    hope it helps...^__^
