generic battery is useless.... delikado pa imo camera ana. if maka afford man gani mo sa D90, try investing on original battery. its a small price to pay than having a big problem on your camera.

Pareha raman ug behaviour regardless what batt brand you use, sulayi ug OEM nga batt mo-tirik ra jud japon na. If mag-generic ka then go generic on both batt ky ang OEM lahi ug mAH compared sa generic types.

ako i-relate sa ako work and experience ha... ug mag parallel ka ug duha ka power supply like generators, battery or uban pah, it should be nga dapat same sila ug specs in all manner (operating voltage, frequency, ampHr etc) mao nah sa power system (sensya na ako lang jud ma-relate) ug mag butang ug duha ka power source to supply one load, it is a must nga same sila ug manufacturer para atleast maka sure ta nga same sila ug standards... balik ta sa topic... ug lahi2x ug brand imu battery gi-gamit, wala ta kabalo ang usa is dali sya ma low-batt or dili accurate iyang amper-hour rating with the other one, so mahitabo ug ma lowbat na sya, the other remaining battery will try to charge his battery-mate, mao na nga instead nga iyang ihatag sa imu camera ang power nga naa sa "charged" battery, iya na ihatag sa iyang katapad nga battery, so nahulod ug duha na iyang gi-supplyan, tendency, dili gyud na niya makaya so wala gyuy operation mahitabo... i hope wa teka napa libog ug samot bro...

Yes, sakto jud ka, Wood, that you pointed out that placing two batteries with different electrical specifications in parallel would cause the other battery to discharge much faster. It harms you camera as well.

Same ra ni principle when you change batteries to your flash. Kailangan all four batteries are fresh and equally charge. And, combination of two different batteries to operate it is not advisable.

^Sir, im using an original d90 battery, and yep if 40% ag is then ang isa 85% ok rana sir, but what i usually do is, i charge both full battery then ako e sud sa battery holder, if imung e use na imung cam, ang isa ma used na, so e hurot na sa imung cam ang used battery then if mahurot na cya, automatic na cya transfer sa pikas battery ug use no need to get the battery out of the casing. makita man sad sa imung info sa cam sir, which batt the camera is using if it's using the left/right battery.
