kinsa naka-experience ninyo ngari ani ako 1 month lang niwork dli na dayon murwork... exhausted all TS i know... wla jud... lost tons of files.... y im putting this here because an officemate of mine bought his SEAGATE Barracuda 7200.12 and he also is experiencing issues with it... he is experiencing a possible HW failure since his HDD is emitting clicking sound...


kinsa pa diha kanang mga less than 6months gamit lang nga ni fail please say something...

is there really a bug or something

had mine RMA'ed to Seagate Singapore...ila tanang expenses...all my data intact pagbalik sa hdisk...i suggest you file an rma didto sa ilang website...my old firmware was SD15...

@ butitoy: if the firmware is SD15, the backup nalang daan...file pud ug RMA sa Seagate...the will give you instructions kung what to do next...FREE ra gyud tanan except lang siguro sa imong pliti paghatod sa items didto sa UPS Mandaue ofc.

i've already said before in another thread na this firmware bug has been affecting seagate users of models 7200.11 and 7200.12, regardless of size.

na fix na ni sa seagate..just upgrade firmware..usually ga start na "CC" firmware kato mga new drives karon sa seagate na 7200.11 ug 7200.12 generation..lyk my 1TB seagate 7200.12 drive ga start CC ang firmware..f ur buying a seagate HDD 7200.12 generation..i check lng f ga start ug CC ang firmware..
