unsa man mabuhat sa strut bar kun magbutang ta?sa looks lang or naa jud na sya mausab interms of perfomance?
unsa man mabuhat sa strut bar kun magbutang ta?sa looks lang or naa jud na sya mausab interms of perfomance?
para d mu flex imu chassis during heavy cornering bro kay e support man sa strut bar ang both towers nmo ( kanang left ug right end where nka bolt ang bar) mas mu stiff sya so d grabeh ang tesion sa both towers....
nindot ni (strut bar) itaud boss. i thought b4 nga 4 choy2x lang ni. peru 1s nakataud ko, care of kalawkaw of istorya. daku jud ug difference sa performance sa car boss. especialy sa cornering. sak2 jud si trueblood. di ka magmahay boss.

What's the inportant of STRUT BARS AND ANTI-ROLL BARS.. well here it is....
CHASSIS STRENGTHENING:
As a vehicle is driven, various forces are applied by the suspension on the chassis. This occurs under braking, cornering, or by any other vehicle movement. The higher these loads are, the more is demanded from the chassis. The car frame has to be strong enough not to fail under these loads. Car suspensions are carefully designed to position the wheels and tires of the vehicle for optimum performance under all conditions of vehicle use. If the chassis deflects when the forces are high, it causes suspension mounts and attachment points to temporarily shift, which destroys the careful suspension design when it is needed most. Chassis stiffness is most important in high performance vehicles or racing cars where suspension loads are at their highest and suspension adjustment is most critical. However, the benefits of this aftermarket product even to ordinary vehicles is undeniable most especially when you enjoy the occasional spirited driving.
VARIANTS:
Front Strut Bar: Mounted at the front chassis for strangthening purposes. Adds stability during acceleration, hard driving and braking.
Rear Strut Bar: Used to support the rear section of the chassis, so that the force generated during hard braking and driving can be reduced.
Side Fender Bars: Installed at the front wheel arch or fender. Fender bars improve handling, strength & stability to the chassis at high speed cornering.
Room Bar: To strengthen the upper middle part of the vehicle body, at the B-pillar area.
Rear Upper Bar: Used to support the rear section of the chassis, so that force generated during hard braking and driving can be reduced.
Lower Arm Bar (Front, Rear, Sides): Tremendously improving the stiffness at the area where the lower arm is connected to the vehicle chassis.
Anti-Roll Bar/ Sway Bar (Front & Rear): Affect the handling of the car on the lower end of the suspension.

UNDERSTEER & OVERSTEER:
As most modern cars go, car manufacturers employ the FF (Front engine, Front wheel drive) setup for improving driver and passenger safety. The natural behaviour of an FF car is to have a slight understeer, due to its heavier front end. Understeer happens when the front wheels lose their traction and won't turn any sharper, even when the steering is being corrected to turn the car more. This will cause the car to go wide instead of following the line. Understeer can be corrected by stiffening the rear end of the vehicle by adding a Rear Strut Bar and a Rear Anti-Roll Bar.
Oversteer is when the rear tire lose grip and causing the rear end of the vehicle to slide out of a corner. This phenomenon happens particularly to FR (Front engine, Rear wheel drive) or RR (Rear engine, Rear wheel drive) cars with heavier rear ends. Vehicles with In-Car Entertainment Systems that carry a heavier rear load due to the ICE setup will highly benefit from this chassis reinforcement technique. Oversteer can be corrected by stiffening the front end of the vehicle by adding Front Strut Bars and Front Anti-Roll Bars.
