i'd like to build an HTPC with my current setup. maybe you guys can help. i'm not much of a PC gamer since i have a console. budget is 8000 lang.

you want to dismantle your rig so that you can build an HTPC? or upgrade your existing rig to an HTPC?
if so maybe a soundcard, hdd, case could be your upgrade option....

just add this in your current setup & you have an HTPC already where you can control your PC through remote control.

Buy a wireless keyboard & mouse,look for a DVI to HDMI adaptor for your VC if you're planning to use the HDMI for your connection to the LCD monitor / LCD TV. Then buy bag of popcorn, a can of coke zero & enjoy watching your favorite movie...

Ok naman imong specs sa PC pero for Home Theatre purposes... consider getting an LCD TV and maybe a tv tuner if you want make a media center pc.

Prices for 720p nga 32" LCD TV's are pretty affordable already. Around 20-27k...

For added functionality, get a media center remote or find a way to control your pc remotely then supplement with appropriate MCPC software / Front End Program


Diha na na' mag daog sa accesories kung sa HTPC. Mas maayo if u make your HTPC function more like an appliance than a PC.

cess try adto sa octagon man cguro to nga gi promo sale sa samsung ang ila 26" nga HDTV... almost 19k ra cess. sayang lagi ky wala lang jud ko budget. sakto na kaayo na pang HTPC or if not got for 32" LCD TV

sa akong logitech with energizer batteries na fresh kay mo last more than a year. dipende ra na sa imong mouse sis if EE na siya or dili like katong mga gaming kusog2x to ug consumo.
