i know most of u hear prefer the "indie" side of things but there are also some good things in the mainstream rock that's been overlooked a lot.

so here's some new mainstream rock music released from September to October (and some prior);

1. World's On Fire- HANSON
2. Back To Indiana- THE ELMS
3. Save It For Later- SPLENDER
4. Love Gone Mad- STARS GO DIM (this is currently number 1 in Davao.2 of the 4 members were in the heavy/hard rock band PILLAR)
5. The End Is Where We Begin- OUR LADY PEACE
6. Need You Now- LADY ANTEBELLUM (currently number 2 on Davao)
7. A Little Too Late- DEFAULT
8. It's Not The End- LOST PROPHETS
9. Wheels- FOO FIGHTERS
10. All The Right Moves- ONE REPUBLIC
11. Again- FLYLEAF
12. I Don't Need A Soul- RELIENT K
13. The Sweetest Lie- GOO GOO DOLLS
14. Belle of the Boulevard- DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL

yup Hanson mao na gakanta sa mmmBop. karon ky indie na sila under their own label ky gi kicked out sila sa ila label ky they refused to write another "binata" songs. ila 2007 album nga Taking The Walk is half political and half social consciousness...

Ila new EP payter sad. 5 songs lang ang EP patikim for the upcoming album to be produced by James Iha and Adam Schlesinger daw. James and Adam ky bandmates na ni Tayhlor Hanson sa iya side project nga TINTED WINDOWS along with Cheap Trick's drummer Bun Carlos...


STARS GO DIM is very pop rock similar to the likes of Matt Nathanson, Gavin Rossdale (Bush), and Boyce Avenue. Pillar is still around with new members. only the lead vocalist and the lead guitarist ang nabilin sa Pillar. Kato negro nga drummer and Pillar's founding member naa na sa Stars Go Dim.
