    Panasonic daw nindot.

Components for interested guys can be bought from Digikey in one lot, and can be distributed locally (GO). Advise not to use locally available passives except the Thermax Polypropelene caps. Everything else will need to be brought in. The 5532 are easily availble but watch for fakes, and keep a chip or two handy over and above the three/four required.

Please use only the following caps (any one):

    Nichicon KZ (the best possible)
    Panasonic FC
    Panasonic FM
    Elna Silmic (less preferred)
    Elna RFS (even less preferred)

I prefer the Panasonic FC, which is what me, SunnyBoi and Gannu (and Bikey, soon enough) used for the mods, all form my personal stash. FM is also good enough. They are not killingly expensive, and deliver adequate performance. You could go all out and get Black Gates but why would you have a MX5021 then?

    Default go DIY

    go DIY.
what's the point in modifying stuff if you're not gonna do it yourself.
    where's the fun in that

you might wanna check this Notes on Audio Op-Amps
_IF_ an opa2134 will work on your circuit then you might want to opt for that instead. from what i've _READ_ this sounds better than an NE5532 but cost a bit more.

check RS Philippines | World Leading Distributor of Electronics, Electromechanical and Industrial Components for your components. i just checked they have both NE5532 and OPA2134. you can get decent resistors/capacitors there too but none of those exotic, 'audiophool" stuff like black gates and such. the shipping cost isn't that much and you can pay thru bank transfer, BPI iirc.

good luck to you mod. just don't expect too much out it and you should come out it still sane
