dli man pud ka makapaslak ug ddr3 on a ddr2 memory slot kay lahi2 man cila ug notch

The same speed, but different latencies. DDR3 tend to have higher latency than DDR2 ram. I'm not quite sure, but I heard they're good overclockers. As DDR3 modules has a much higher overclocking headroom.

you are misinformed. first of all, they do not have the same speed, the DDR3 memory runs at a higher clock than its DDR2 counterpart. secondly, they don't have higher latencies because the amount of data that they can move at the given latency (although higher than DDR2) is pretty much equal more (pero more

) or less to a DDR2 with low latency.

i forgot to mention that they run on a lower voltage than DDR2.

The slowest DDR3 module runs at 1333mhz right? My apologies then, also, I was looking more at the latency values. Thanks for the info.

nothing to apologize, a lot of people wonder why the DDR3s have latencies above 7 whereas the DDR2 are on 5 or 6. they tend to disregard the amount of data it can move is more than the DDR2 counterpart.

poldopunk, bro naka idea ngano ila pa man gyud giusab/gimove ang notch sa ddr3? mas maayo nalang to kung same lang sa ddr2 para dili na mag-usab og mobo bah?? bali upgrade to higher speed rate w/out changing the ram board physically.

kinahanglan lahi ang slot kay lahi man sila ug voltage requirement, achitecture and for the love of uprgade and money for manufacturer..
