question nmo bro..are you an atheist or an anti-theist?..have you read the book and seen the mini docu of dawkins?
i'm ok for a discussion. i hope it won't turn into a debate then an argument.
Yes, I do consider myself an atheist. I have a copy of the book and I have read it several times over.
I have not seen the documentary (do you have a like pointing to it?).
Its interesting because Richard Dawkins in one of the faces of the atheist movement. Im a regular reader of PZ Myers blog pharyngula and I see links from the religious right attacking Dawkins. I got his book and it seemed like that things I thought about with regards to religion was suddenly given a voice.
Dili ko wholly agree sa methods ni Dawkins, hardline athiest ra kaau siya, but his ideas on religion and its role in society are things I agree with wholeheartedly.
I have read that book The GOD Delusion and have you read the anti thesis book " The Dawkins Delusion?"
The Dawkins Delusion?, subtitled Atheist fundamentalism and the denial of the divine is a book by Christian theologian Alister McGrath and psychologist Joanna Collicutt McGrath, written as a critical response from a Christian perspective to Richard Dawkins' book The God Delusion.
