UTP Splitter DOESn't work..

i have a (UTP Splitter)single to dual modular jack 8-conductor that connected one end to router, the other end to the (UTP Splitter)single to dual modular jack 8-conductor, from the UTP splitter there are two(2) female 8-conductor slots, i connected 2 PC to the UTP splitter (PC1 and PC2) but how come it doesnt work? but when i detach PC1 connected to the splitter, PC2 now connected, but when PC1 & PC2 plugged in both of them doesnt work.

i dont think that's gonna work..
the picture looks like an enet jack and phone jack..

there's a collision of sending and receiving for data in using 1port only with a splitter.. unlike cascading the single port to a switch, which managing internally the transport of data--in and out...

is it phone jack bro? for all i know 8 conductor or 8 pins is used for ethernet..

aside from using switch or hub, what else could i possibly do? like something handy just like, let say splitter? is there any?

are you using cross-over or straight-thru cables?
