Continuous Beeping from my UPS

ni-brownout kalit gabii then nakamata ko kay nag sige na man beep ang ako UPS, constant jud siya nga beep, dili to intermittent nga beep. ang ako ups kay APC BackUPS ES500, na-purchase ni nako more than 2 years ago. gi-off nako ang UPS then pagkabuntag kay balik na man ang kuryente ako gi-saksak balik then gi-on, sige gihapon iya continuous beep, tsk tsk. unsa kaha problem ani, drained na iya backup battery? or ako na lang jud ni ilabay, hehehe

not charging na bro, possibly blown fuse kung naa or putol ang wire so la ka-charge..

check daw...

hehehe, so ako ni ablihan ang UPS bro kay wala man ko makita nga receptacle sa fuse diri sa gawas sa ups. by the way, ang iya output nga wala battery backup (but naa surge protection) kay naa may kuryente mogawas. 4 man tanan ang iya output, three with power backup and one nga wala battery backup (all with surge protection). so nag wonder ko basin drained na jud ang battery.

@dexlimp: hehehe, mapugos jud diay ko open ani bro, para ma-charge nako ang battery externally. ako man siya gisaksak then wala nako gi-on ang ups basin pa diay mag charge. then ako gipadugay-dugayan sa nakasaksak nga state but mao ra man gihapon inig on, hehehe.

Pareha ta ug UPS bro. Mao ni nakabutang sa manual:

Audible Indication: Continuos Tone
Visual Indication: Power ON LED flashing 2 times per second
Status: Repalce Battery - Battery needs to be replaced
Alarm Terminates When: Unit is turned OFF and then ON and it passes a subsequent battery test. If it cannot pass the test, user should contact APC for service options.

Murag mao jud na nahitabo sa imo UPS.

hehehe, thanks bro, so i should contact apc, kakapoy na email2x ui, hehehe. ang iya power on LED kay mo-green inig ON nako but once i-release na nako ang switch mao na to mag continuous beep then mawala ang iya LED indication, as in no light from the LED jud. then i-off na pud nako basin mauli-an pa diay, mao ra gihapon ang mahitabo. try lang pud siguro ko contact sa APC.

battery capacitance, tungod ky ni-brownout ni-discharge cya. try lng charge ug several hours ayaw lng sa gamita, pero kung mao ra ghapon.. maybe u need to replace the battery

Basin mao sab ni:

Audible Indication: Short beeping 2 times every 4 seconds
Visual Indication: Power ON LED - OFF
Status: Sleep Mode - During On Battery operation the battery power has been completely exhausted and the UPS is waiting for utility power to return to normal

Try sab kanang inig ON nimo sa UPS, OFF tanan naka connect niya.

sunod bro if di ghapon ma ayu ukba nalang nya pangitaa ang speaker nya putla para mahilom na nya gamita nalang ang avr piece of advice if ever di na na ma da ug ayu or wa nana warranty.
