    Default is online purchases cheaper?

just curious. I'm planning to buy a laptop and i was thinking of dell or toshiba, however, there's only few on display here in cebu stores so i was thinking of doing it online.
Are prices online cheaper or expensive compared here in Cebu? Are there additional or hidden charges if we order online? And how long is the shipment?
    thanks ahead.

item will end up costing slightly higher considering the shipping fee etc...also if there is a problem and it needs to be returned to the supplier, u will also handle the shipping cost...for peace of mind buy it locally...if the model is not on display...u can order it from them...

if ordered in the US and ship to a US address (maybe relatives and friends) and they will be the one to carry it for you here....then it's cheaper. The only problem is warranty....just in case naa guba then you will have to ship the item back to the US.

I have no idea about online stores in the Phils.

yes but if magkaproblema, ang store na bahala ana, dili na ikaw mo-gasto for RMA.

Depende pud bro sa store nga reliable palitan like newegg kay maayo sila ug service warranty and disadvantage mangud sa online although usually cheap pud some wala naka bayaran sa pag RMA apan dili dayon ta ka expect ma dali ang process sa pag replace.

i wouldn't say hassle free kay in the first place hassle na kaayo kung defective imong nadawat nga item pero at least sa shipping for RMA purposes, di na ikaw mamroblema.

I find it cheaper jud ghapon buying sa gawas than sa Pinas na mga stores. I bought a laptop before worth 50k sa mga tindahan sa Pinas while I only paid no more than 35k including the S&H when I ordered online.

If imo ra issue is RMA, then sa Pinas na lang palit if you are that impatient enough.
