    Default Henry Miller

Henry Miller - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

suffice it to say that this guy has more profound effect on my line of thinking than any tom, dick and harry in the literary universe(aside from bukowski).

    any fans?

OT: anyone got his books and would like to sell it, please send me a PM.

"The dreamer whose dreams are non-utilitarian has no place in this world. In this world the poet is anathema, the thinker a fool, the artist an escapist, the man of vision a criminal."

Got to read Tropic of Cancer. i liked it. I'd like to think he's a grunge writer of the 30's. Crude, surreal, biting and poetic. Looking for Tropic of Capricorn unta.

naa sa national ayala. huge paperbound. tag P900+ thick book. thicker than 'cancer'. ambot naa pa ba to. im looking for black spring, plexus, nexus para makompleto ako tropics trilogy ug rosy crucifixion. i can lend you my 'capricorn' if you want. i'd like to think that he is punk rock before the phrase even got invented. he is very much a poet inasmuch as he loathes poetry. gandhi with a penís? amen!

"tomorrow you may bring about the destruction of your world. tomorrow you sing in paradise above the smoking ruins of your world-cities. but tonight i would like to think of one man, a lone individual, a man without name or country, a man whom i respect because he has absolutely nothing in common with you - myself. tonight i shall meditate upon that which i am.
