I am in need of consultation if anyone can help. Basically we have a system that's written in Foxpro but the programmer left for greener pastures a few months ago so we have been struggling with it.
Would appreciate any inputs or recommendations.

@darkhero: I assume cold_fusion offered deepsix some help regarding the latter's concernVisiting Microsoft's site would provide the answer
to the question.

@all: I've been thinking. If FoxPro is truly dead, then I assume maintaining FoxPro applications that were 'left behind' would be a cash cow for independent FoxPro application developers especially if the previous developer didn't leave any design document.
Eeps, it won't release any versions after Visual FoxPro 9.0 and FoxPro support will be until 2015 only. Plenty of time to port.

This is my problem now...I am looking for someone to maintain our system and quite possibly modify some of the programs since I cannot extract data...Originally Posted by cmontoya
No offense to cold fusion, he did a fantastic job here but he seems to be busy at his office
I would like to move forward a little faster with some of the things I need, as they say, time is money :P
is it still in DOS or in Visual Foxpro? where is your office located?
sent pm's to those who inquired!
