Default Sharkoon Intros Skiller Gaming Keyboard

German PC peripherals designer Sharkoon rolled out the Skiller gaming keyboard. Its unique selling points include high key-rollover, and the ability to store up to 10 macro profiles locally. Sharkoon also has a big surprise in store, with its price.
Pictured above, the Skiller is touted by Sharkoon to be every bit gaming-grade. Apart from its 107-key QWERTY layout, the Skiller provides no less than 20 macro keys, which double up as Windows 7-compatible quick-access keys, to perform most common tasks. The included software allows you to create up to 10 macro profiles, and store them locally on the keyboard. The 20 macro/quick-access keys are split into three sub-levels (the left, right, and top sets of macro keys make up for them). Macro profiles can be switched on-the-fly for each individual sub-level.
The WASD keys are interchangeable with haptic ones, which help easy access with first and third-person action games. A feature that cements the Skiller's classification as a gaming keyboard is its 18 key-rollover (registers up to 18 simultaneous key presses). Measuring 485 x 212 x 25 mm, the Sharkoon Skiller weighs about 603 g. It uses a common-membrane switch design. Its USB cable is sleeved in nylon, and is 150 cm long. Lastly, the surprising price we talked about a little earlier: 14.99 Euros (SG $24).
