Brandon Vera could be best in Light Heavyweight..

I was very disappointed with Brandon Veras loss in the recent UFC tournament.for me he can beat Werdum but the ref just prematurely stop a good fight.But I think Branon Vera could be a force in the light heavyweight division than in the heavyweight.What do you think?

the light heavyweight division has the best fighters in the UFC.

for me Vera will have a hard time in the division if he moves down he will be facing the likes of Rampage jackson, chuck lidell, shogun rua, forrest griffin, wanderlei silva.. those are very good and experienced fighters.

its better if he stays at heavyweight, he can still comeback and dana white will still give him another chance because it was a very clear premature stoppage. the only difficult opponent in the heavyweight division is minotauro.

brock lesnar is big but hes not yet that good in MMA. all other fighters are very beatable

Yes.Brandon Vera can beat any fighter form the light heavyweight division.Most fighters in light heavy were just strikers.Vera is a dimensional fighter.

light heavyweight is a very tough division for brandon vera, theres a lot of threats, top MMA strikers are in that division.

i concur that vera is a in the top 5 HW but he still has a long way to go. i still cant see him beating couture or emelianenko. they still are the best (one of them). he knows how to swim but has not yet been in deep waters. his chin has not been tested and had a lack luster performance in his last 2 fights. lets not forget that couture schooled tim silva and fedor submitted HO MAN CHOI and defeated noguiera twice. i thought that the frank mir fight is very premature. frank was not yet 100 percent and still recovering from an accident at that time. Werdum just got REALLY lucky. (like a student passing the finals because the prof. is not available for the thesis defence..hehe.) i would love to see vera vs. mir part 2 or vera vs. gonzaga or even vs. cro cop just to redeem himself and send a message that his still in the game..i also welcome the idea that he move down to LHW. he will definitely OWN that division!!
