wala may sila comparison between robinson and duncan... lahi ra ilang dinula-an... playing style, ilang speed, playing execution, they were both different...

but one thing is common, they both won nba championship and both have bagged MVP regular season...

now back to the topic, robinson > duncan... why robinson? i do remember nga wala ka-dula si robinson for one season coz of injury... perting bala-a sa san anotonio adto and they have not reached to the playoffs. what if today's spurs minus duncan? lig-on gihpon coz naa may siya mga maayu nga kauban si duncan like parker, ginobili, finley... unlike kadtong time ni robinson nga ang iyang right hand is sean elliott...

well, what I know is Tim Duncan and David Robinson blended well together when they won their first ring together..and both are headed to the Hall of Fame

Why I picked Robinson.

David Robinson single-handedly turned the Spurs franchise around during his rookie year and for more than a decade, the Spurs became perennial playoffs contenders. The Spurs were 21-61 before Robinson joined the franchise and after his first year in the NBA, the Spurs went up to 56-26, the second best single season turn around in the NBA, coincidentally, second to another Spurs record during Tim Duncan's rookie season.

The Spurs missed the playoffs once during Robinson's reign and it was during the 1996-97 season where Robinson was sidelined for much of the season due to injuries.

Tim Duncan on the other hand is probably the most highly decorated San Antonio Spur in the team's history, even surpassing George Gervin and David Robinson. Duncan was present in the Spurs 3 title reigns and was the link to the Robinson era to the new generation Spurs. Bottom line is that Duncan had better teammates than Robinson.

Duncan is more fundamentally sound but Robinson is a more versatile and feared player. Too bad they always ran into Hakeem Olajuwon and the much better and deeper Houston Rockets during those times.

Plus a career high of 71 points helps. :mrgreen:

both did their share with the spurs organization..hehehe and robinson had his time..duncan has his time..so id say both..

lisuran japon ko kay lahi man gud sila style and while they played together, they played in different generations and both did good. Although tiguwang na si Admiral when Tiny Tim came along, he readily accepted sharing roles with the younger Tim, I'd even say he mentored Tim at some point

they are both great players.... pero i would pick DUNCAN.... he is more dominant player compare to Robinson kong ang basihan individual lang... sa ako lang neh...
