I live in the 80's soÂ* I like tff, there are a lot of crap bands in that decade, di lang ko musulti kon kinsa ni sila but any way, songs from the big chair is their best record to date, believe it or not roland orzabal won the ivor novello award for an outstanding songwritter or the year bec. of that record, he just proves he's one of the greatest songwritters on the planet, bag- o ra gani nakadawat si sting ana nga award, and he commented on cnn that its every song writters dream to have the award, and he tells he's ready to retire coz he already got what he wanted....... kung sa movie pa na oscar nang ivor novello......

Nindot kaayo ilang bag-ong album....
Gi release nila nga single was "CALL ME MELLOW" pero check LADYBIRD - nindot gyud kaayo pagkahimo... Curt Smith is also back sa new album.

well i heard i cut from their latest album, the song entitled "Closest Thing To Heaven" which i coincedentally saw the music video in the internet which feature a long time fan actress Brittany Murphy, who when she heard Tears for Fears are doing a video for there latest album..she immmediately volunteer for a cast in the video.....well i like there not so commericially first release PALE SHELTER compared to SONGS FROM THE BIG CHAIR...nevertheless both albums are worth checking....

I think "THE HURTING" ang title sa ilang first album. "Pale Shelter" is a track off that album. I agree nindot kaayo nang albuma.

If i recall correctly, they weren't in a mental institute; more like they had to undergo psychiatric counselling. And one of the methods they were encouraged to use to let out their feelings was to shout - and that's why they wrote "Shout", one of their big hits back in the 80s...
