mga bro, do i really need a 500watt power supply if core2duo 2.33mhz 13333mhz FSB akung processor? naa man guy 400watts. i wonder lang if enough ba ang 400 for this type of system para maka tipid ko sa kuryente. and yes that's also a question, mas maka tipid ba ko sa kuryente if 400watts ra akung power supply? example same components inside (cpu,mainboard,etc) then 400 vs 500? or ang electric usage kay nag depend kung unsa ka-daghan ang imung components inside the case? some explanations about power supply please i've read nga ang core2duo daw kay mas tipid sa kuryente? but isn't it nga ang real nga nag kuan sa kuryente kay ang powersupply? or...

kung 400w na generic, kung mu-on man gani, basi dili stable imong system. kung branded na psu, basi kaya ra. basta for psus, the higher the rating, the better. and it doesn't really have to mean mas taas ug consumption. i-consume lang sa psu ang power na kinihanglan... dili pasabot na kung 500w ang psu, 500w sad iyang i-consume (provided iyang load dili dako na mu-require sa iyang max).

sa imong case, kung dili mu-require ug additional power ang imong vcard, basi kaya ra ug branded 400w psu imong system. sakto nga ang bag-ong intel processors karon kay dili dako ug power requirements (1.16v ~ 1.31v sa akong oc-ed quad core) pero ang video cards esp mga mid- or samot na ang hi-end dagko gyud ang power requirements. halos ang mga latest generation sa vcards ang ga-dictate sa minimum wattage sa psu.

nakadaug man akong "Task 450 watts" na PSU sa: C2D 6600; Asus P5N32 SLi SE Deluxe; 2x1GB Geil; 256mb 7300gt; 80GB HDD; 250 HDD; DVDRW; 2 aux fan. wa nuon ko nagOC ato na time. currently i'm using Coolermaster Real 550 watts SLi PSU...
