The scenario is this:

A company is offering you that thru the use of your cellphone you can send a coded text message to a Central Monitoring Station to activate ALARM whenever you are held-up or on a fire-situation. Then that Central Monitoring Station will call back in seconds to get more information, which will be broadcasted to the authorities concerned. QUESTION: If you are the client, what are the questions that comes into your mind?

This is a scenario that will test as to how technical your mind is.

most of the time, kana would be useless considering na i text message pa nimo ang na hitabo sa imo... by the time the victim is finished texting... he may no longer have the time to press the send button... (btw, when your held up, you dont do texting)

If the company is held up, I don't think the robbers would let anybody in the room use their cellphones.

Why not make it a secret button. a discreet button which can automatically alarm the Police Station or the Fire Department when pressed?

1) set up a # number for speed dial. 1 digiit number if possible. A call to this speed dial number should tell the central monitoring station that it is an emergency. No other explanation or info needed. Emergency is emergency. They have to figure out what kind of emergency soon as they arrive at that exact location.
2) eliminate the callback time to you from the central monitoring service to the authorities by setting up 1) speed dial programmed on the phone and central monitoring station also in sync with authorities and your phone. No texting necessary or explaining of situation. Just program speed dial and interconnect central monitoring station and authorities.
3) back to 1) its important that it is to be used in emergency situations only. You might not have time to text or make a call so its important to speed dial the phone number by using a programmed # ___(one or two digit number).

We already have this in place in the U.S. that if you dial 911 tanan moabot sa imong balay. Fire truck, Authorities, Ambulance. And even if for example you called for help and for some reason unable to finish talking and something happened, they will be able to pinpoint your exact location.

I hope i understood you correctly with that given scenario.

For one... i am not a salesman...

second... i have done my assignment already... but i know that there are questions here that i haven't met... and inputs from various people is really necessary. I thank you for giving such remarks.
