Last Sunday, a lady who sells dogs imported from Korea wanted to join KCCI dog show . She brought the korean pedigrees but was advise to have them registered with PCCI with all the corresponding requirements which will enable her to register with PCCI. She had seek the help of one of the Pet Shop owners to hopefully have these dogs registered with PCCI.
Requirements for imported dogs are : 1) Import permit from BAI7 2) Airway bill whereby the dogs flew as cargo or excess baggage 3) Official Tax receipt. 4) Receipt from Quarantine office where dogs landed. Export permit where dogs originally came from .
Unfortunately the lady did not have some of the papers above and PCCI will not allow them to be registered without all of the above.
As these dogs with original pedigree from Korea cannot be registered in the Philippines. We would advice those who are interested or have somehow purchased a puppy from the lady above that her imports will not and cannot be registered. All the dogs sold will be considered without papers. Beware !
