Default Why I feel discouraged to work in the government

I really want to serve in the government rather than private institutions or companies. However, I feel discouraged.

    Why?

    Its because of politics.

These are most of the things I hear.

Can politics be set aside, and evaluate you on your own capabilities in work?

unlikely... even private institutions have internal politics... murag x10 lang gyud sa gobyerno, hehehe!

all my siblings work for the government, except me............... wala gyud koy plano, tungod sa imong rason og uban pa (maka bugo gyud kuno sa gobyerno labi nag city hall - 15 years akong maguwang sa city hall as casual, imagine that... )...

National positions, way paki ang local government nimo.

Stop, look and listen. Careful on what you say...
