i think there's a thread on this one already...try to search it.

I think they said before that OEM can't be transferred to another rig..but full product can be transferred to another rig provided that you inform microsoft about it...

XP full version means it's not a trial or Beta version.. OEM is a kind of license, OEM versions are OS that are pre-installed on the PC and it's a full version..

    OEM
-License is not transferable. It lives with that PC it's installed and dies with it.
-Support is provided by the system builder that sold the license to you, not MS.
    -OEM is a full version

    Retail Copy
-License is transferable as long you delete it's existence from the old machine when transferring to a new machine.
    -Support is provided by MS.
-Retail can either be an Upgrade Version (which requires a previous version of the OS), or Full Version (can be installed on a PC without requiring an older version).

dati ang OEM is only suitable for personal use and Pro version are the ones used sa mga internet cafes, but just recently, microsoft has allowed the use of OEM in cafes considering mas mura sya and that mas ma afford ng mga operators...this is according Mr. Boy Bawal of Microsoft Philippines

(XP Pro, XP home, Win2k, Vista can be OEM, Retail, Student, MSDN edition and be upgrade or full versions.)
