This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in WORDPRESS
And Shopify content management systems and a penchant for code writing, and thoughtful (high converting) web design:
Primary Responsibilities
- Code web designs supplied in Ai or PSD into shopify themes
- Set up shopify stores based on wireframes if no design is supplied
- Develop shopify themes from a basic free theme, that can be reused
And sold
- Integrate and customize shopify apps requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
Required skills/experience
- Wordpress / CMS and shopify / eCommerce experience
- HTML/CSS skills highly desired
- Java/JSON skills highly desired
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to eCommerc e applications
Bonus skills
- Sweet UI/UX skills
- Ability to train others
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery and API’s
- Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position.
