    Default Would this work?

I got a Speedtouch 330 USB modem and Linksys WRT54G...

    GLOBELINES DSL ko

I'm planning to buy a USB to RJ45 cable so i can connect the modem directly to the router, by doing that i do not need my workstation to dial up a connection and share it with the rest of the computer on my network. I'll just turn on my ROUTER and bwellah! internet na...

im thinking about that dis now. im looking for feedbacks if anyone has tried that and can tell me it would work... Could the router supply the power needed by the usb modem since this usb modem gets its power from my computer's usb port itself where it is inserted.

bro, wala kaayu ko kasabot sa imong ganahan nga setup. unsa ni nga modem ang speedtouch 330 usb modem? coz normally, the broadband modem is usually provided by the telco. in this case globe and it has already an rj45 interface. this modem can be directly connected to the wan port of your linksys router. afterwhich, config nalang dayon nimo ang router kung naka pppoe ba or naka static....and if naka dhcp na ang config sa router on the lan side then once your pc's are connected ang naka obtain ip automatically na, they can already access the router as well as the internet (ofcourse properly config pud and router) heheh )
