for the needs you mentioned brad, you definitely would want a decent mac air or macbook pro (the latest one).. You can't go wrong with Macs as they are premium build, battery wise, they could last 13 hours to say the least (w/ the Maverick OS updates) and with Video Editing? well you can say you can get the Final Cut Pro s/w from Apple and your worries will be at ease.

Video editing /splicing are and will always be the main forte for the Macs, Any video top experts would honestly tell you that. BUT you need to eke out a bit of your budget lang gamay. Check and visit Istore to check the current prices of their latest mac airs and MBP pro lang brad.

50k will be good for a gaming laptop.. since editing man ka, need nimo dako og RAM and nindot og graphics card ( since ang mga editing softwares karon kay mogamit naman sa graphics card, like adobe premiere pro, PERO okay rasad if dili kaayo kusog ang graphics basta dako lang gyud RAM) and you need a good processor like i5 or much better if i7 lang gyud... so sa 50k nimo, naa na gyud ka mapalit nga nindot ana.. VISIT MSI SM cyberzone... look for gaming laptops lang boss like MSI GE60, GT60 or 17in like GE70 or GT70.. newer models are more expensive lang sad noon.. hope this helps..

bdway editor man sad ko boss, nindot sad gyud ang mac for editing... u just need to upgrade the RAM....pero gamay ra ang 50k kon mag mac ka..
