Thread: ship rerouting

    Default ship rerouting

There is a proposed plan of rerouting sea vessels away from the Mactan Channel to avoid passing under the two bridges linking the islands of Cebu and Mactan that were recently hit by two Maritime Accidents. This would mean that vessels would have to pass at the south channel entrance and proceed to the Hilutungan Channel going north, passing through Bagacay Point en route to their destinations.

The affected passengers will be the passengers going to Butuan, Surigao, Leyte, Iloilo, Masbate, Samar, Davao, Bantayan, Cebu as well as those going north- toink! (CAM-town??)

Aside from lengthening the travel hours, the cost of fuel might also go up which would lead to another INCREASE in fare ang freight which would be largely felt by the public.

the world is becoming more and more interesting everyday.. u think so turn off the radio.. burn the newspapers.. turn off the tv sets.. browse na lang sa multiply.. then do what u have to do.. start to eat free corn and camote shipped from your small parsel of land from the islands... and donate a bit to the less fortunate para may touch of angelina jolie donating something to uganda or malawi.. or consult someone to join among the millions of OFWs.. ngek i still believe though that the grass is greener where i am at.. so suffer and nosebleed.. hahaha
