regardless of any sport or player, who's your favorite athlete and/or sports team?

as for me, i have been glued to basketball since michael jordan's glory days with the chicago bulls, so it would be safe to say that michael jordan is my number 1 sports icon. as for the teams, i have been a new york knicks fan in the 90's. though they're in a seemingly hopeless situation right now, i still root for them. (just waiting for allan houston's contract to expire ). as for the new breeds, i'm root for the new orleans hornets. this team's got a lot of potential, especially with the surging tyson chandler and youthful chris paul and david west. and of course, steve nash. hope he wins his deserved nba title, same for jason kidd, grant hill and kevin garnett.

i just love basketball.

other athletes/teams i look up to are ronaldinho, david beckham, chuck lidell, and our very own manny pacquiao (setting aside the politics side), and england and brazil world cup teams.

Im a fan of basketball, late 80's and 90's PBA an avid fan of Purefoods(alvin, jerry, capacio, cabahug, pumaren etc.) and San Miguel(caidic, dignadice, teng, agustin, pumaren, calma etc) I hate alaska the team of the 90's pero fan ko Johnny A hehehe . a big Chicago Bulls fan also, perhaps Jordan is my fav. athlete of all time and also a Phoenix Suns fan the moment Charles Barkley played in Phoenix.

I like the way Steve Nash plays, and Peja Stojakovic ( I wish I could shoot like him). and Tim Duncan as a very solid performer.. Duncan is probably the greatest player in the new millinium era.. sorry guys its not kobe but it's Tim Duncan's era... Kobe's is by far the most exciting player in this new millinium era, watching him score 81 is unbelievable, used to hate him but now im a fan of his scoring prowess he is such a beast on that department..


right now I'm just a Phoenix Suns fan.. though still not a Championship team but at least they are fun to watch.

I don't play tennis but I llove to watch Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi play, very exciting, now we have Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer... on womens I like Martina Hingis so graceful on the court during her prime and of kors Steffi Graf.....

we all love Manny Pacquiao as a fighter bisan bukya kaayo na cya hehehehe
