    Huh? I don't think that's the point.

Anyway, can you guys call his description of the bad side of Manila a "work of fiction"? I don't think so.

Hard to argue with it when it is the truth.

Upon setting foot in Manila, however, Brooks could only "gape in horror" as "she had never seen poverty on this scale."

She said her “dark depression” flooded back, with pictures of poverty and crime flashing through her eyes.

“For every one person Sienna fed, there were hundreds more who gazed at her with desolate eyes,” the book read.

One after the other, the book described chaotic Manila: "six-hour traffic jams, suffocating pollution, horrifying *** trade."
    Yup, sounds about right.

Yea, there are parts of Manila that are like that. But I think the author hasn't been to the real hell.. Beijing. The most polluted city in the world.

Murag taud2x nako wala kabasa ug books ni Dan Brown, i have to get a copy of this.
When you're in Hell, you can't tell where is Heaven. murag na-overwhelm nalang ka sa imong environment.
I can't argue also, i've never been in Manila but it's not deniable.

that's also correct. anad nalang sila, ilang palibot dili na makita sa kaaso.
mas dako man sad ilang population didto, so mas daghan gutom.
