I love this knife since I was a child. I feel naked when I go out without it hanging on my belt.

Guys and gals, please share your stories with your swiss army knife... commonly called simply as - the swiss knife.

Per suggestion ni pinakurat, we can include Leatherman, Gerber, and other multitool pocket/belt knives in this thread as well.

In fact, yes, I have in my collection a classic Leatherman acquired during my deployment in the Persian Gulf as well as my issue Gerber multi-tool.

this was taken during a bushcraft camp seminar last august. also shown is my AFP canteen bottle, cookset/mess kit, spork, mini spoon with can opener (called a FRED can opener). the jungle machete and british NATO canteen cup is owned by a friend.

the swiss knife was supposed to be my backup knife. during the event, it was my main knife which was used extensively to open canned goods and prepare meat for cooking.

at home, ang can open muy pinaka gamit.

i am planning to buy the bigger swiss army knife for use during bushcrafting events, i am not yet decided kung unsa na model. perhaps the german army model siguro.

yeah hilig pud bay. pero karon karon paka naka uctual field experience. tungod rapud sa Camp Red. apil nya bay basin maganahan pud ka. national bookstore, gaisano ayala, hahn sells swiss knives.
