If you are interested in learning, the best thing you can do is learn through self-study first. Or you can buy and learn stuffs from magic shops. THEN approach our group and we will evaluate your interest and commitment. That is how most of us started.

    But keep these in mind:

Magic is not just the tricks. There is a difference between a magician and someone who just knows how the tricks are done.

Secrets behind magic is not the only things that make it work.

Doing tricks and performing magic are two different things.

Magic, like singing and dancing, is a performance art. ALL of us what 'singing' is - they taught us in our schools. We know how singers do it: Yeah, the Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do, pitch, and other technical stuffs.
But after knowing these things, does that make all of us singers? I think not.

You may know how to singing and dancing works, but knowing these does not make you a singer or dancer right away. You need to perform it so that the essence of its artistry be realized.

And yes, there are the typical karaoke singers. No hint of artistry at all. And yes, sadly, there are 'karaoke magicians' as well.

That is what our group is about. We try to discover things the magic shops can't teach to anyone. Performance and artistry. Things that you can learn only through experience (either from your own or from others). And guess what, these lessons and experiences, if you join our group, naturally comes for FREE!

So, if you are interested in learning magic and captivate yourself with its wonders, there is nothing wrong in learning the tricks from the magic shop, BUT dont stop there. Perform it for people and experience what it is like to astonish (not just fool). And when you feel that the art of magic is for you, then PM me or anyone from our group that are also actively participating here in Istorya (Unfamous, Rex here, Cosplay...) and we will talk about it.
